Challenge

Challenge

Every product looked different - Inconsistent UI, mismatched components, and no shared design system to unify them.

Designers wasted time recreating elements from scratch, developers implemented styles differently, and accessibility was often overlooked.

This led to slower design turnaround, longer development cycles, UI inconsistencies that hurt usability.

RetroGlitch wasn’t just about design - it was about building a system that scaled effortlessly in the age of AI, with new interactions emerging.

As a result, what were once mismatched products now came together as one cohesive suite, enabling faster delivery with consistency and accessibility built in.

Before RetroGlitch - Every project felt like mixing Lego with random toy parts, nothing really snapped together.

With RetroGlitch - It’s like having a complete Lego set with clear instructions: infinite possibilities, but everything fits perfectly.

My Role

My Role

My Role

I led the creation of RetroGlitch by defining reusable components, design tokens, and accessibility standards, ensuring every product followed a unified design language.

Beyond design, I worked closely with engineering to implement Storybook (UI Library for Devs) , making RetroGlitch easy to adopt across teams. I also established guidelines and best practices, ensuring consistency in how designers and developers used the system.

RetroGlitch wasn’t just a design system, it became the foundation for how we built and scaled products.
